The Slice Aluminum Pie/Cake Marker is a durable tool for evenly portioning pies or cakes. It must be hand washed, as aluminum products are not dishwasher safe. Always allow the marker to cool before cleaning, then wash with warm water, mild soap, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. After washing, rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a cloth or paper towel to prevent limescale buildup. For cooked-on residue, boil the marker in water with vinegar for four to five minutes, then wash, rinse, and dry as usual.
